Toy Story 3 was a great ending to the Toy Story franchise, or so I thought at the time. I didn’t think Toy Story 4 was needed when it was first announced. I was excited but also wondered if it would ruin the closure that came at the end of Toy Story 3 when Andy gives his toys to Bonnie. I am here to tell you I was wrong. Toy Story 4 was a fantastic film that answers the question about where Bo Peep was during Toy Story 3.
Annie Potts was back as Bo Peep, who has grown a lot since we’ve last seen her. Tony Hale was hilarious as Forky. Not only a source of comedy, but Forky also serves as an integral part of the film and Bonnie’s life. Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele were also hilarious as Ducky and Bunny. These guys are pure comedy which you might have guessed watching some of the Toy Story 4 trailers. The rest of the Toy Story cast is excellent as always.
Toy Story 4 is a film for the entire family. A lot of the humor actually resonated as much or more with adults than children as I heard the adults in the theater laughing through the whole movie. You’ll feel a wide range of emotions watching the film. I’m going to keep this spoiler free, so there’s not too much more to say than that.
Overall, we absolutely loved this film, and everyone should see it. Everyone in the family will enjoy it and with most Pixar films it has something for all ages. Toy Story 4 is in theaters on the evening of June 20.
Finally, Bo Peep can be met now at Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort and Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World Resort.
